I had the occasion to talk briefly with George Hotz at Devcon, I actually understood smart contracts thanks to one of his streams. He told me "sorry about that", as well as "this space is full of clowns". I wonder what exactly he was doing there and would've loved to hear more honest criticism from him.

Regarding this idea, a friend actually built this in the DeFi summer but it ended up collapsing and two way bridges became a standard

Yes he was there on the last day only (I think) and presumably to meet his girlfriend.

For the one-way bridge, I don't understand how the "proof of inclusion" part would be achieved trustlessly
